I attended several comedy tours this year. Dave Chappell and Chris Rock were both excellent, with a professional production team and smooth operations at the venues. Our seats for Ben Harper were on the floor (row 7). The show started VERY late, the venue was littered with all kinds of Ben Harper 'paper', and a ghetto announcer repeatedly warned not to use phones or risk getting kicked out. He proudly claimed they had kicked out over 150 people the previous night. It felt more like dealing with unfriendly club bouncers than enjoying a fun evening. Dave Chappell and Chris Rock provided phone lockers, avoiding the need to eject fans who might need their phones. The comedy was lackluster overall, including Ben Harper. Ben Harper didn't stay on stage long enough to be the main event. I've enjoyed his other shows, but not this one! It's worth checking out only if you have nothing else to do. I wouldn't pay an exorbitant price, that's for sure. A basic ticket for a night out is all this show is worth. #dobetter by creating a better atmosphere for your fans through your employees and venue.
